The student led organization- Fishers Equity Awareness, who recently planned the Fishers Equity Awareness Demonstration, are working with F.R.E.E. (Fishers Racial Equity Efforts) to plan a Juneteenth Jubilee this Saturday, June 20th from 3:00-6:00pm. There will be booths from black owned businesses, performances, a station for children and families to create art and learn about Juneteenth, a larger area dedicated to education and a spot to donate to different organizations! They invite all families and residents to come learn about the history and importance of Juneteenth! This is a family friendly event and are working to make it as safe as possible! If you are planning on attending, please wear a mask and come and go to limit attendees! We want to make sure safety is our priority!
