Northeast Indiana is setting a new standard in the state of Indiana for its mental and behavior health and wellness initiatives. In recent years, we have built extraordinary collaboration among health care providers, law enforcement and first responders, the court system, and the mental health community that has laid a groundwork for nimble response to new initiatives that offer hope and recovery to people who need it most.
The more we work together, the easier it is to talk about mental health challenges. It’s a sign of true community when we pull together to support and encourage those among us who live with a substance use disorder, anxiety or another mental illness. One day at a time, we are ending the stigma.
