Dennis Wimer is a U.S. Air Force veteran who served as a navigator on the C-141B Starlifter. After leaving the Air Force, Weimer worked in multiple sectors of the economy, and was honored to be selected by Governor Eric Holcomb to serve as the Director of the Indiana Department of Veterans’ Services. He brings a servant’s mindset to the department and is excited to lead the department to serve Indiana’s veterans and their families.
Attorney Miranda Richard has been practicing law for 14 years. After five plus years as a deputy prosecutor and then seven plus years as an elder law attorney, she started her own firm in September to focus on assisting clients with estate planning and elder law related matters.
Miranda graduated from Indiana University - Indianapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University's Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2006. While attending law school, she participated in a judicial externship with the Honorable Judge James S. Kirsch in the Indiana Court of Appeals and she was a member of the Indiana Law Review where she served as a Note Development Editor.
