What is the Youth Opportunities Fair?

The purpose of this event is to promote jobs, programs, and resources available to Indianapolis young people and their families.

  • Non-working Youth: Participants under the working age of 14 can connect with local service providers offering summer and year-round programs, as well as volunteer opportunities designed for young people of all ages.
  • Working Youth: Teens and young adults can connect with job, internship, and volunteer opportunities. Professional volunteers will also provide learning sessions on interviewing skills, resume review, and post-fair tips to follow up with employers.

In accordance with local polices to slow the spread of COVID-19, this year’s event will be held virtually using a live online event platform. The event is free to attend and no special equipment beyond a computer or phone with a camera is required. There is no need to pre-register for the Youth Opportunities Fair, but if you would like to receive updates on the event you may do so on the event page.
