Teens and Technology – Virtual Event

This free event is open to the community and will focus on educating teens, parents, professionals, educators and others who work with youth about healthy technology habits, how to be safe and smart, and the impacts of COVID-19 on children. Conference topics include:

  • “Focusing on Healthy Digital Habits in Families and Children,” presented by Brandon McDaniel, PhD, research scientist, Parkview Research Center
  • “How Predators Use Technology to Groom Children,” presented by Cathie Bledsoe, youth educator, Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force
  • “Prevention and Treatment for Adolescents and Substance Use,” presented by Carolyn Greer, MD, MS, FACOG, FASAM, Bowen Recovery Center
  • “Beyond the Disease: How the COVID Pandemic has Impacted Our Children’s Health and Development,” presented by Tony GiaQuinta, MD, PPG – Pediatrics
