OCD in Children & the Impact of COVID-19

Many children with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) deal with their symptoms for a while before parents, teachers, or doctors notice it. Kids with OCD may try to hide what they are experiencing out of embarrassment or confusion. Some common OCD behaviors are brushed off as "kids being kids", and some are similar to public health recommendations during COVID-19, like frequent hand washing. This complicates the process of identifying kids who are struggling with their thoughts and behaviors and could benefit from extra support.

Join this free, 60-minute webinar where we will discuss:

  • what OCD typically looks like in children
  • what behaviors may be a typical response to COVID vs cause for concern
  • how parents can be supportive of their child with OCD
