Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a “collaborative conversation style for strengthening a person’s own motivation and commitment to change.” Instead of trying to persuade people to change, MI uses a guiding style to elicit and explore people’s own reasons to change. This evidence-based approach is exceptionally relevant and useful for anyone working in health and human services. This webcast will provide an overview of the spirit, methods, and skills of this approach.
Scheduled for Wednesday, August 12 at 11am.
