Improving Employment Outcomes for Youth with Justice Involvement

Recently, the National Youth Employment Coalition (NYEC) released a toolkit for practitioners, introducing best practices in connecting system involved young people to employment resources— as well as providing information about the federal programs available to support education, training and employment.

About the Webinar: Thomas Showalter and Rashaun Bennet of NYEC will kick off this event by providing a brief introduction of the toolkit and taking grounding questions. The webinar will then include a facilitated discussion, followed by Q&A, with practitioners whose work is featured in the toolkit. The panelists all represent organizations that provide workforce development and education services for young adults with current or previous system involvement.
