Death & Dying in the Black Community

June 19, 2020 will mark the 155th anniversary of the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation (the beginning of the abolishment of slavery in the United States). There is such irony in celebrating this day, as we mourn the loss of black men and women to racially charged violence, and those we have lost (disporportionately) to COVID-19.

ReImagine and Music Meets the Boardroom are collaborating to present this engaging discussion about this transformational moment in the history of racism in this country, how COVID-19 has changed black attitudes around death and how all communities of color can become empowered by this moment and begin to shape the way we live….and die.
