Christian Theological Seminary webinar - The Witness of the Church and a Critical Presidential Election

Join Christian Theological Seminary and Dr. Bill Kincaid for a presentation based on his new book, Letters to the Church: Encouragement and Engagement for the 2020 Election. Dr. Kincaid will be joined by panelists Bishop Jenifer Baskerville-Burrows, Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis; Rev. Lori Tapia, National Hispanic Pastor of the Disciples of Christ; and Min. Nicole Barnes, Director of Voter Engagement for Faith in Indiana. Dean Leah Gunning Francis will moderate the event.

The outcome of the elections in November will dramatically impact particular communities, as well as key issues, judicial appointments, and our relationship with other countries. In the midst of tense division and stunning extremism, what will the witness of the church be? In what ways will thoughtful, compassionate, justice-seeking Christians become engaged during this election cycle? In what ways can our voices be heard? And in what ways can our votes express the deep commitments that our faith has formed for us?
