How do we move beyond a declaration of policing as a public health issue into action? Alternate public safety response programs exist, but there are still questions surrounding their structure, operation and impact.
This training will provide public health practitioners with insights from three unarmed public safety models so that public health and public safety agencies, as well as governing bodies, may explore implementing similar programs.
