When the COVID-19 pandemic began, the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana had hoped that moving our annual Fair Housing Conference from April to July 29th would result in our ability to then host an in-person event. Unfortunately, due to continued health related concerns for large groups like ours meeting indoors, we simply do not feel it is safe to move forward with an in-person event.
However, we will still be moving forward with a VIRTUAL Fair Housing Conference on July 29th!
A couple changes of note - we have rearranged some of the scheduled workshop to accommodate our new virtual schedule of 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM. You can view the draft agenda on the conference event page. We are still offering 15 fair housing workshops for you to choose from but have had to rearrange the schedule for staffing purposes. This now means the conference will end at 4:30 PM instead of 3:30 PM and there will be workshops available in the afternoon in addition to the morning.
