COVID-related sanctions can be overwhelming for families. How can we make plans for work and life when we don’t even know if our basic dependent care needs will be met or whether kids will be in school this fall? And how can we be resilient and productive when the next year or two are so uncertain? In this interactive talk, we will be discussing the balancing act that modern families now face and the stress, anxiety, and physical and mental health issues that might now be affecting adults and children. We will also discuss problem-focused and emotion-focused strategies to improve life and support others by meeting them where they are.
