Kids and Vaping: What is it and how do we address it?

Please join the Indiana Youth Institute for our virtual Youth Worker Café.

“Nearly 30 percent of 12th graders in Indiana report using electronic vapor products in the last month. As the brain continues to develop, adolescent use of e-cigarettes containing nicotine can harm the part of the brain responsible for mood, learning and impulse control. Participants will be given information on e-cigarettes, how they are impacting Indiana’s Youth, understand the health risks and discover resources to assist with education and prevention.”

The presenter will be Cathy Blume, Synar and Alcohol Program Director, Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
