Effective Collaborations with Community Mental Health Centers for Schools

The focus of this webinar is to provide a broad to specific overview of Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) to provide context related to partnerships, implementation, and design. This presentation will provide a broad overview of CMHCs in the State of Indiana and their purpose and role in schools and the larger community as supported by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction of Family and Social Services Administration. Two exemplars of CMHCs and their integration into school communities across the spectrum of implementation will also share their experiences.

Participants will:

• understand strategies to partner and integrate CMHCs into schools
• hear two exemplars of implementation and lessons learned
• have a deeper understanding of the nuances of CMHCs and school/community partnerships
