"Youth Mental Health First Aid" training being offered in Jeffersonville ~ FREE!

LifeSpring is offering a free "Youth Mental Health Fist Aid" training on Monday, Febr. 18, 2019 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The training is geared to those working with adolescents and teens.

Learn how to distinguish between average adolescent development and symptoms of a mental illness. Participants learn the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, increase their understanding of the importance of early intervention, and develop skills to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. The curriculum is primarily focused on information to help adolescents and transition-age youth, ages 12-18.
