Incredible Years is an evidence based parenting program provided by One Community One Family. Each program is offered over several weeks in two-hour per week sessions. Incredible Years is designed to strengthen the parent-child bond, improve effective discipline, and teach parents how to promote a child's development. It is designed for caregivers of infants through pre-schoolers and helps parents address and improve their child's social skills, emotional regulation, behavior needs, confidence and school readiness. The program is free and child care is provided.  For more information visit the website at or follow  One Community One Family on Facebook.

Parent Cafes are free parent-led get-togethers that encourage parents to openly talk about the difficulties of being a parent and share ways to strengthen their families. They are an opportunity to learn from other parents in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Parent Cafes are free and child care is provided.  Parent Cafes were developed by Be Strong Families and are provided locally by One Community One Family. For more information and details about upcoming Cafes, visit the website at or follow One Community One Family on Facebook for the latest scheduled Cafes. Dad Cafes and Parent Cafes in Spanish are also available.

United Families is a program of One Community One Family that is led by parents of youth with behavioral health challenges. The purpose is to empower families to overcome life's challenges through education, support, and advocacy. Services includes Parent Gatherings which occur in multiple counties each month with the goal of strengthening natural support systems through education and networking with others, and Parent Advocates that help parents navigate the various systems that families encounter and help ensure their child's needs are met. For more information visit and follow One Community One Family on Facebook for the latest scheduled Parent Gatherings.

Strengthening Families is an evidence-based parent, youth, and family skills-building curriculum that prevents teen drug and alcohol use, strengthens family connections, and increases academic success.  Families with children ages 10-14 are eligible to participate.  This FREE 7-week program is being offered by Purdue Extension at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA in Batesville and includes dinner.  For more information or to register call Rachael Smith at 812-689-6511 or email at
