Youth Mental Health First Aid Online Training

Coronavirus has been tough on teens.
Be prepared to help them navigate the isolation, anxiety and disappointment of today's world.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is recommended for those who regularly have contact with young people ages 12-18 -- youth pastors, teachers, coaches, camp counselors and other caring adults. The workshop will teach how to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

Participants will need to complete a 2-hour, self-paced online class prior to November 16, and then join the 4.5 hour, instructor-led online class on November 16 via Zoom teleconference.

Space is limited, and registration closes October 31, so register early. Registrations are non-refundable. In early November, you will receive links from Mental Health First Aid to both the 2-hour self-paced online training and the 4.5-hour instructor-led training. Click the registration link for a more detailed course description and to register.
